2 Different People To Approve Name Change Requests.

Let's be honest, TechBanana is never on meaning that that 5 days wait until your name change request goes through, is invalid. I think 2-3 people or basically every senior moderator and above should be able to view name change requests and do it themselves.

On top of that why not make it so if the name does meet the requirements just change the name automatically, theres no need for it for someone to approve it if it meets the requirements.

I think it should be so if you recently changed your name, there's some kind of notice for like 30 days.

Edit: so everywhere you post people see that you changed your name, they should always be able to see history.

he's saying there should be a warning under the usernames of users that recently changed their names on mcm so that lazy users don't have to view their profile to figure out who they are

We definitely don't need more than one person to handle them for now. Your username isn't a priority for us to handle, if you have to wait a week to get a username I think that's pretty reasonable.

We have plans in the future written down to automate the process, but it's not remotely close to being priority so I wouldn't be surprised if it took a few years to be done.
