Alright, the title sounds pretty shady and like a scam but after running servers for more than 4 years I have picked up a few things here and there that helped me a lot on the road.
1st trick is the main trick that can be used any time whenever you want to. This trick requires consistency and you want to use it as often as possible. When I was running my server I used to execute the trick every 10 minutes more or less and it would bring me a huge amount of players over a short period of time and I could use it as often as I wanted. The only thing limiting the playercount is the amount of traffic on the given day and time. Therefore its best to use at peak times and in the weekends. On an average day you can easily gain more than 100 joins depending on how frequently you are using the trick. On the weekend on the other hand theres a lot of traffic and when using this trick you can easily get more than 200 players.
2nd trick is less efficient than the 1st and can only be executed once every week. I therefore used to use it in the weekends at the best peak times along with the 1st trick to get as many players on within the shoirtest period of time possible. Although it can only be used once every week it brings a lot of players much faster than the main trick over a short period of time (around 20 minutes more or less depending on some factors). I would say that you can almost instantly get 30+ joins using this trick allowing you to get a lot of players on your server at the same time. This makes players staying more likely from my past experience.
None of these tricks include spamming on servers and over the time I have been using it I have had around 3 complaints in total. Another thing I might add is that the players are looking for new servers.
I know these tricks sound shady and I cannot really provide any proof that it works but this is honestly the only reason why I even decided to run a server in the first place. I dont understand how other people manage to do it on a small budget without using these tricks. I used to be the owner of Atherion Realm which I got to peak at 27 players within 3 months without any paid advertising. That speaks for itself doesnt it? With the players came the donations, and for the last month I ran the server we made almost $500.

If you're asking yourself why I am selling this trick and why the server is not online anymore then its because I didnt have time to run the server anymore and I want other servers to be able to experience the joy of growing an awesome community as I was able to.
