Honestly, the opportunity to have a good environment to live in. Compared to other countries, living in the U.S provides some pretty damn good circumstances to live in. Are there downsides? Sure. But lets be honest, would any of us rather live in a 3rd world country? Probably not - and I'm sure a good amount of people that live in 3rd world countries probably would like to live in a safe environment as opposed to there anyways.
