2020 Capes Confirmed

For some reason i doubt there will be codes this year since the main reason Minecon didn't give out any more capes is because they didn't like reselling them, however ill give them a call today and see if i can find out how its going to work. If anyone is interested in having me get them a cape at Minecon dm me

They might revert back to simply requiring you enter a username in order to attach it to an account. Then once you get your ticket scanned at the event, it will activate.

This is what im thinking is going to happen as well. Although it will look strange if i come with 10 tickets that i will need to scan, hopefully that wont be a problem.

They might not let you do that. When I attended Minecon in 2016 they were pretty adamant about having one ticket per person. I guess a work around could be asking random people around the convention center if they want to go to the event?

You don't charge anything. You offer people access to attend the event via your ticket and in exchange they have your ticket scanned and you get all the capes. Now if you want to pay people just to walk up to the convention center and scan the ticket you could also do that.

Well I would charge a percentage of the capes value. You're going out of your way to physically attend the event and basically make people hundreds of dollars.

Depending on what the cape looks like and how many tickets are being sold could make the cape cheaper than others. Buying a code could be quite easy.

I'm still going to attend all three days of the event and have fun with my friends. I just plan to make money off going as well which doesn't hurt anyone.

thats what I did in 2016. Got like 5 codes for 50 each at the time
