So I am currently building a decently high end system, check the link below to view it.

I am reaching the last few final decisions to make for this rig and cannot decide a quality monitor.
I am stuck between a ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q 27" 2560x1440 and LG 34UC79G-B 34-Inch 2560x1080, both are IPS panels and both are 144hz native.
Here are the specs for each monitor, so you dont have to search them your self.
LG 34UC79G ($690)
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q ($728)
Just wondering if anyone has any input or advice they would like to give me. This is my first PC build ever, also I have never experienced anything above 60hz so i really would like to stop being on the bottom.

LG 34UC79G ($690)
- Pros
- 34 inch 21:9 ultrawide curved IPS gaming monitor
- AMD FreeSync
- 1ms motion Blur reduction
- 144Hz refresh rate
Cons - I have a GTX series card so the freesync is pointless
- 1080p, Not really too much of a con for me considering I am shooting for overkill FPS but I could for sure own the 1440p area
ASUS ROG SWIFT PG279Q ($728)
- Pros
- 1440p IPS Panel
- 165hz with G-Sync so my card can take advantage of the it
- Eyecare
Cons - Not a ultrawide or curved screen
- Price is not too far from the ultrawide, but cost around $40 more
Just wondering if anyone has any input or advice they would like to give me. This is my first PC build ever, also I have never experienced anything above 60hz so i really would like to stop being on the bottom.
