1 (Maybe):
Allow suspended users to PM staff. This is kinda a maybe, but I think it might help some people.

2:
Allow suspended users to delete messages on their profile. Just because we're suspended, doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to delete messages on our profile.

3:
Allow suspended users to react with agree/disagree on suggestion threads.

Just some things I think suspended people should be able to do, because they can't really break rules with these permissions. (Except 1, but that's why it has maybe)

I would delete this, but you can't delete suggestion threads..
Anyways, obviously nobody agrees with this, so Justis or mick feel free to get rid of this thread whenever

Your suspended for a reason, Once you aren't suspended then you can do all that.

Yes, I agree. But I prefer some messages to not be posted on my profile regardless.
And there's a lot of suggestions that I think were bad/good but I couldn't even react to them. I'm not saying suspended users should be able to reply, just react.

i personally think suspended members should be completely unable to access the site and the only thing they can see is something that says "you will be able to return to mc market in (insert time here)". that's what a suspension is..

so this seems to be pushing it considering suspended people are pretty well off already

No, because I don't do much wrong. The definition of suspended is "temporarily prevent from continuing or being in force or effect". This isn't something about rights, you are being punished and while it may suck that's the point so you don't do it again.

Okay, then you don't know what suspended users can/can't do. All they can do is look on the forums, and make support tickets. That's it.

I don't think they should even be able to look on the forums tbh but it's fine.

Just they don't need more.

I suggested the same type of thing but with disabled accounts, the feedback I got was "its your fault you got suspended, deal with it" "you chose to disable your account, deal with it" type of stuff.

Ahh.. so, I mean, you're only saying you don't like it because you've had it rejected in the past...?

Its actually a little different then disabling your account. You didnt choose to get suspended, it was for violating the rules. Where as when you disable your account that's for you to decide. You face the music either way

I agree. Users who are suspended are supposed to not be able to interact with the site as a punishment, making users unable to access any forum other than scam report/support requests seems the most reasonable to me.

I certainly don't plan on giving suspended users more privileges any time soon, I might look into removing their permissions to view the forums entirely on their account.
