$300 Budget - Enough to Make Advertising Worthwhile?

I'll be as straightforward as possible with this. I have some money saved up and instead of letting it collect dust I want to use it. I'm comfortable with spending a portion of up to $300 on advertisements for my server, provided they yield the results I want - which is a server that pulls in at least $200/month.

I think my server is somewhat unique and has appealing branding if that matters.

Do you guys think $300 is enough to achieve what I want? I'd appreciate detailed insights if anyone has the time

Get the right YouTubers and it might work. Maybe $200 is a big goal. You should find some streamers to regularly stream on your server for sure and if you find ones with the right viewership you should be able to make some money. If it isn't your $200/month goal just reinvest your first couple month's profit.

I think 300 is more than enough if you just focus on the correct youtubers and discord advertisements.

If your willing to go that way you can also setup small cell/faction top rewards and try to get some of the p2w factions to play. It is not necessarily good for community but it is when your mainly looking to invest it

I worked for opmines which got a couple hundred players just from people in their discord. At 0.10/join i think theyre almost always worth it if you give people something to join for.

Gotcha, and hosting is already taken care of in that budget.

Do not buy discord advertisements where you will giveaway a discord nitro or something, in result, people will only join because of the giveaway and not the actual server you will release.

I myself have experience in advertising via discord advertisements ONLY and used around $300 on those ads as well and made back over $2,000 during it's first 2 months of release.

What I want to say is that you must know where to buy advertisements and must think if they'll be effective. A lot of things depend on the server as well such as if the staff is interactive and features so players won't get boring that easily.
