Hello, so I have currently set a budget of $300 for advertising, although I am not sure about how I want to advertise my network. I would do the $1000-2000 sponser slot although im not sure how they will turn out and if the network revenue would help to break even. I was looking at the TOPG $300 for 15 days and was wondering if it would help me get a stable playerbase like 10-20 players.

I wouldn't recommend doing TOPG, not enough players join to hold a stable playerbase, but if you have a unique server you should be good.

Its SUPER unique, so would you say that TOPG $300 for 15 days be worth it?

Personally not for 15 days, nor is the traffic that high anymore.

Ah okay, what would you suggest I would do if my starting budget would be $300. I am looking to test out areas to get a feel for what I want to completely invest in ($2k+) and what I wouldn't.[DOUBLEPOST=1499064050][/DOUBLEPOST]If you can understand from my standpoint, being a first timer, its more that I would like to test the waters.

I would recommend finding YouTubers that make mc videos and dm them on twitter offering money for them to record on your server :p

Youtube advertising is the most popular to do, though I have heard the minecraft-server-list.com slots have dropped in price xD

Ah okay, I thought about youtubers for a bit, though wouldn't it be 1 video and thats it. So the server doesn't really grow because the players would just hop on it one time as the youtuber is on it for that one video.

Depends on the youtuber and how much you pay him. Target small 1-10k youtubers and they should say okay. Don't allow them to overcharge you, should be $10-$20/video depending on the size.
