$300 in Donations, Prevent Chargeback

A player on my server donated $300, and I'm afraid he could chargeback. I heard of other servers sending them a TShirt as proof of tracking. Would this work if he bought like 30 different items at ~$10 each? He also bought items for other people and on alt accounts.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If they decide to chargeback, call PayPal, and tell them they broke your TOS. Provide all the proof you can. If you are in the right, you will win the dispute.

Just have a tos they agree to when they purchase... if they break It you can show paypal.

Its not guaranteed, but it helps. Especially if Buycraft or whatever you use sends you email confirmations of them donating.
Since its lots of separate ones, its less likely he'll charge back all of them at once, since that would be suspicious as fuck from PP's point of view.

Thanks for the advice. I do have a TOS, just making sure. Also, wouldn't having lots of purchases seem less suspicious if he claimed unauthorized?

If he claims as unauthorized, then you're in luck. PayPal takes those claims very seriously, as it is potentially fraud. They will check his IP login history, failed password attempts, etc; to see if there is any proof of someone who isn't him, trying to login.

edit: I once had someone chargeback $100 as un-authorized, and PayPal found no evidence that it was So, unless your guy used a VPN when purchasing, you're all good.

Thanks guys. Landon, there's a very low chance he was on a VPN because he was logged on the server at the same time too. (VPN disabled)

I wouldn't worry about it to much don't let it get to you. I have someone that donated 400$ on my server. Its been little over a month. Some people just have that kind of money to spend.

I mean, there's people that spend $1000+ on a project car every month
There's people that spend $500 on CS:GO or Overwatch skins in a month
Why would there not be people that spend hundreds on Minecraft ranks?
I mean, there's literally people buying and selling accounts for their name on here.
