Indeed, I put $10 into Ethereum about a year and a half ago, it went to $28 then fell back down to $9 during the Corona lashback, and seems to have finally recovered back to $20 and semi-stabilized.Yikes, don't do BTC unless you know what you're doing - and be prepared for a rollercoaster of a ride haha

yeah, I would've done the same at the 28 mark but most of the reputable sales places had a minimum of $40 and I wasn't gonna mess around with this site's crypto trading.Yup that's a risk you gotta be willing to take hahah. Whenever I earn BTC, I try sell on the same day otherwise the next week or so it could be worth 10% less

They offer solutions for many problems that Banks can't solve. You can send money 100% anonym, The Currencies are decentralized, there are no chargebacks and most importantly: You can send money all around the world with low fees.
Have you ever tried to send money in an country that is quite far away? The fees / time that it takes to send the money is hilarious.
But I agree, at the moment Cryptos are still unstable.
