Still it looks fishy since you tried to sell a CPU that you weren't obviously using. Ask your provider to post shots that you really own that CPU.

Just because you don't have "access" to to ROOT doesn't means you don't have rights to information that you want/need. Log a ticket with your provider to do the execution and paste what they got when they executed the command.
