3d modelling advice?

Hello, is anyone comfortable with 3d modelling? - I started to gain some interest in 3d modelling, but not sure where to start with. Is 3d modelling for minecraft server level ( 3d resourcepack ) learn-able enough for beginner? I've never tried any design related stuff in my life so far, but it seems cool, so I decided to dig into it this summer. Any suggestion?

Not even close to what 3d modeling is you should start with Blender and edit Garry's Mod models and move from Texturing to Building the Body then you can texture that body with ease.
