true, but at that point i would need to make about 1-2 k back with this to cover the printer. I will see if there would be another way to do this.Yea I guess I don't know what goes into making the templates for say a Mc skin but if it's possible it would be a good money maker since you would be the only one doing it no commpetion
You might* get in trouble with Mojang for doing that. Not sure.O
O true hmm yeah figure something out lol
How?!?!You might* get in trouble with Mojang for doing that. Not sure.
I'm not sure, but maybe because skins are made for minecraft characters, selling a character like figure, with a custom skin might not be okay with them. I bet you could get away with random skins, but as soon as you printed a Steve skin I bet you'd receive a cease and desist letter. How?!?!
Well you can make that stuff, but legally I believe you have to have written permission to do so from Mojang. Being as how your product, would be worthless, and or would have never been made, if Minecraft never existed. It'd be making money off the brand that Mojang built. If that is so they would have to sue everybody that sells self-made figures, books and resell them.
Minershoes sells these 3D cutouts with your skin on it for like $25 :/I'm not sure, but maybe because skins are made for minecraft characters, selling a character like figure, with a custom skin might not be okay with them. Not a lawyer though, just something to keep in mind, if somebody was to make these.[DOUBLEPOST=1438123698,1438123580][/DOUBLEPOST]

But not all skins are made by mojang, so seeing that most are public for downloading i would not see a problem with doing that.I'm not sure, but maybe because skins are made for minecraft characters, selling a character like figure, with a custom skin might not be okay with them. If you did this, how much would you sell them for?But not all skins are made by mojang, so seeing that most are public for downloading i would not see a problem with doing that.
Well do you know if they explicitly asked mojang for permission to make those or not?[DOUBLEPOST=1438123954,1438123916][/DOUBLEPOST]Minershoes sells these 3D cutouts with your skin on it for like $25 :/
You're right, like i mentioned, I bet you'd be fine until you made a Steve or default Minecraft skin, then maybeeeeee they would care. But not all skins are made by mojang, so seeing that most are public for downloading i would not see a problem with doing that.
Who would want a steve skin though XDWell do you know if they explicitly asked mojang for permission to make those or not?[DOUBLEPOST=1438123954,1438123916][/DOUBLEPOST]

Lol if only legalities worked on 'doubts'.Doubt it, Koala should be fine.
Just because another company does it doesn't mean you can without asking. They probably have permission from Mojang, probably because they asked. Come on guys, use those pink plushy things behind your eyeballs.Naw you wouldnt because there is all ready a company that does it just out of plastic
