I’m looking for an experienced Blender User who will provide 3D animated renderings of multiple scenes of a Minecraft world/scene.
In every project, the employee will be provided with:
A Minecraft world (OBJ file + Textures).
Custom Models (if needed).
A detailed shot list of every clip that is to be rendered.
Other files that might be useful for every project.
The employee will have to:
Follow the Shot List as precisely as possible.
Show frequent updates of each shot that has been worked on, as well as a preview rendered in Workbench Preview Engine.
Keep in contact with the Director and be able to chat with him over Discord Calls.
Follow the Director's instructions, often provided via Discord calls, and share their screen to show progress/work along with the Director.
Upload and send a compressed file with the PNG sequence of every clip that is rendered (different passes might be included sometimes) to be given to the Video Editor.
Complete the Animation and the Rendering progress of all shots in the Shot List in the given time (45-60 Seconds in total, not all shots will have animations. No advanced animation is required. Some of the animations might be reused)
Be able to render Shots on Eevee and Cycles rendering engines on daily basis.
Requirement:
The applicant must:
Know the basics of Blender 3D Software.
Know how the basics of Nodes, Modeling, and Shading.
Know how to animate simple characters.
Know how to use MCPrep Add-on (For Minecraft additions in Blender).
Provide a portfolio/sample of past work.
Be able to keep frequent contact with the Director of the project and show work in progress via Discord calls and share their screen.
Follow the Shot List.
Be able to communicate in English as well as basic Rendering/VFX/Blender-related terms.
Be able to complete a total of 45-60 seconds in rendered footage with some of them having animated characters included
Communication and help will be provided constantly by the Director.
People that may lack some of the skills required can still apply if willing to keep frequent contact with the Director/Supervisor and be able to follow instructions.
Payment: $400-$600+ per project
