Hi there guys,

We are here selling the third slot on minecraftservers.org. If you would like to have a full day we are offering it for 170$ and if you would like a day on the weekend that would cost 200$-250$

If you would like a full week we will be selling it for 1300$. The reason that we are selling this is because the server is broken and alot of problems are on it which causes alot of people to leave , etc etc.

It's basically commonplace for people to spoof on slots now, you get more players as players only want to join big servers really. It really does make a difference for servers starting out.

Now if your spoof is so incredibly obvious like OpalMC's, it's not going to benefit you at all. People will realize it almost immediately and complain as well as leave.

Obviously once you reach a decent playercount (200+), than spoofing starts becoming useless.

That PVPEra server as well haha.
I think it's actually owned by someone on here. Not sure on his username.

I personally don't see the point. I mean some servers they might be able to get by, but players want to communicate with other players and it's pretty easy to tell for most of these servers.

Most of these servers spoof by an amount that is so incredibly obvious that it negates the benefits of spoofing entirely. A 1.2x spoof would barely be noticeable and carry some benefits, but people insist on setting on their playercount to 200 flat for some reason.

Anyway this is incredibly offtopic for this .org reselling thread, so I'm going to stop responding, you should too.

This isn't a positive nor negative reputation just a "word of advice" for anyone inquiring about this slot. I want to be clear that the intention of this post isn't to spite the slot owner, I'd just like to let people know about my experience as my time (and patience) was wasted.

The person who contacted me on Skype (xRizzy0) was unclear, hesitant to make any trade and outright a pain to try to work with (in my experience). Upon contacting him, he told me the prices he listed on this thread were incorrect and that he would change them (still not changed). I was told the price for a week would be 1.3k-1.5k on Skype. After telling me the prices had changed, he attempted to flip the sale round on himself making it out like he was doing me (the customer) a favor by selling his slot off (remember he is selling the slot because his server is broken or whatever) and wanted me to make an offer. He used excuses like "the slot is really cheap this month it's worth 5k usually" and "my server is starting to do well so you need to make it worth it for me" (not exact quotes). I laughed at the fact he wanted me to make an offer despite the fact I contacted him offering the whole price he listed here.

Upon actually making an offer (I was already angry that he had tried to mess me around with pricing) he said he'd have to speak to the people involved with the management of the server. I asked for clarification on this since I thought I was purchasing the slot from him, not 3 other people, his response:
"It's just me but they work with me on this server."
After a few more messages he stopped responding. 5 hours later, he tells me "lol look at the thing". Turns out the "thing" was the slot and the slot had been deleted. Eventually (after telling me different stories), he tells me a member of his staff team (who I was told had nothing to do with the slot/financial side of things) deleted the slot accidentally. I told him I was surprised he had lied to me previously about who had control over the slot and he told me:
"I gave him the password since i was gone for 5 hours and someone wanted to rent our slot.
And ok and we are ding business, no ripper. Peace love and unity"
I ended up helping the guy get in contact with the owner of minecraftservers.org because I felt sorry for him.

Might also be worth noting I was reached out to by a different member of staff (before the slot was deleted) who tried to ask for 2000 USD for 9 days or 1000 USD for 5 days. It seems the entire management team are terrible at both math and organisation.

To summarize, I assume this was my experience because either:

• The slot owner realized I was a serious buyer who had the money to spend on the slot so attempted to mess me about to drive the price up
• The slot owner had the intention to mislead people by listing incorrect prices in this thread from the start (most likely as he hasn't changed the price since I have spoke with him)
• The slot owner doesn't really think things through and is just a bit thick

I think taking the whole ordeal into account (especially the slot getting deleted lol) does suggest the latter is the cause of all this. Points to take away:

• Expect to be messed around when it comes to pricing
• Expect the slot to be managed by more than just the person you are purchasing from (and poorly managed at that)
• Expect stupid

EDIT: (2 days after this post) we found a price that works for both of us. I ended up buying the rest of the slot.
