ITS NOT 2.
You have to do multiplication in order.
Its 288.
48/2(9+3)
48/2(12)
LEFT TO RIGHT --->
24(12) = 288.
L2R is not a universal standard. Some calculators association to the left.

Wrong. You didn't write it out correctly, firstly, the one one the right has two divisions, which there clearly isn't. The first one should be like this:NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT, THE ANSWER IS 2 https://gyazo.com/0610364ea5f6109c9ae46fdaf07a8a20
The right one is wrong but the one of the left is completely correct. You can't just divide the 48 by 2 because it's next to a parentheses.Wrong. You didn't write it out correctly, firstly, the one one the right has two divisions, which there clearly isn't. The first one should be like this:
48
_ (9+3) simplified to 24(9+3) and you get the rest.

So you're wrong.
You should consider finding a new teacher...https://gyazo.com/90d4616b71c3dffa63019df52dd82a98 I GOT MY DAMN TEACHER TO SOLVE THIS CUZ YOU PEOPLE ARE WEIRD
That's literally the only way to solve the problem. 48/2(9+3) = 2You should consider finding a new teacher...
More like the only wrong way to solve it...That's literally the only way to solve the problem. 48/2(9+3) = 2
There are plenty of stupid math teachers out there. I would understand if the original problem contained a fraction sign "48/2(9+3)", but it was "48÷2(9+3)". Any math teacher that interprets that as "48÷(2(9+3))" should be immediately fired. Please don't start up the argument again. If a math teacher says it's 2, then it's probably the correct answer.
Ya stupid, that's not PEMDAS48÷2(9+3)
48 / 2 = 24
9 + 3 = 12
24(12) is the same as 24 x 12
= 288
