You could use the money for cheap slots on some server lists or you can invest it in some GFX, plugins, builds, etc.

I highly recommend waiting until someone on here offers to rent out a slot, 2 hours on .org or minecraft-MP will significantly increase your playerbase!

People purchase sponsored slots on minecraft server list websites, they then go at the top of the pages, meaning that millions of people see them. Slots go for around $2000-$5000 so they're very expensive however some people on here will purchase a slot and then rent it our for ~$50/hour and then your banner and IP will be on the sponsored slot for that amount of time. This can be a great way to advertise however I suggest getting a slot either at the weekend or friday evening.
