Requirements and other relevant information
As a few are aware, we're currently working on a huge project, an OP Prison server. And for this to work out, we'd like to hear everyone's suggestions on what should be added, what do people like nowadays and general suggestions. We'll be splitting the prize between 1-5 winners. Meaning, if you give out a good suggestion and somebody else too, we accept both and split the prize, up to 5 people with 10$ each. Or, if you provide a lot of suggestions we may choose you only to win 50$.

I like this, but would try to avoid roobet :joy:. I've seen servers do gambling and it seems fun. Just need to keep the influence down

Roobet games are just a suggestion, I’ve seen one that does a type of mikes system where there’s 2 mines and nine squares, each non mine multiplied money and mines take away everything and you can cash out anytime

I like this alot! I would suggest a higher variety but this works fine!

In my personal opinion, I have never really played prison before but I know a little bit about what it is like. I think a major selling point in my opinion is a survival aspect where you can make your own base and expand upon it- sort of like Hypixel Skyblock or any modded Skyblock server where you can build upon your island and see your profile grow with it.

Suggestions:
- Random spawner pouches.
- Lucky blocks when mining (chance to find a lucky block).
- ItemFlip, basically "coinflip" but instead of money you bet items.
- Duels, basically betting but you 1v1 for an item or money.
- Cell mines, basically you can have a mine at your cell allowing you to mine in peace.

I would Suggest for some Pickaxe custome enchant like Drills , Lazer , Speed.And Also you can add minions for it like when u afk it will give up money (sounds very op).And you can add some special item like buff ur pickaxe or more

More suggestions:

Starting off with some custom enchants (makes it easier for noobies)
Make pvp actually viable
Afk region where players are invis at spawn to decrease lag
Earn mining crates randomly that you right click for extra tokens (ender chest spawns in the mine where you mined a block randomly)
Make plot mines good and viable, increases purchases as some people like to mine in peace

- Possible adding valuable currency such as cigarettes or ramen noodles (if you watch Brooklyn 99 hehe).
- Also allowing you to try to distil alcohol in the toilets or something.
- Perhaps have events where you give out things like blueprints or information about the prison and get people to try to escape.
- Maybe add gambling events where people can bet on PvP matches.
- Add some easter egg characters from famous prison movies like Clint Eastwood (Escape from Alcatraz) or Michal Schofield (Prison Break) or Stan (Big Stan) etc.
- Add the ability to upgrade your cell with decor or bigger containers.

Add an actual drug system with custom crops that allows your users to grow, create and sell 'drugs' on the server. It's been quite a while since I saw an actually decent system for that.

you could have gangs and make it so gangs can rent a cell to store their items but make cells really exclusive like 20 available on the entire server and make it so the cells go up for auction if one expires but the price the players pay to win the action is also the renewal price to keep it for another month. (Basically the best gangs control the cells)

Honestly I don't care much for your $50, but if you want genuine suggestions; I would say keep it as NON p2w as possible and stay SUPER active. Don't try to release a perfect server, give a constant flow of small updates and you'll gain a following of people who are loyal.

I think a good idea would be to make it like an actual prison. Instead of just mines, get a build where there is an actual prison spawn (you would have separate sections for mines. You could make an actual black market Easter egg, and possible make a casino Easter egg as well (as other have mentioned). I would also have guards that are looking through the server to keep you out of the incorrect mine if you try to break into mines your not suppose to. Possibly have these guards randomly check for drugs, and maybe have you lose money if they spot you. Also possibly an item you can buy so if you have it in your inventory the guard can't see the drug. Hope you use some of these, as it would be fun to play.
