Live chat lied, claiming they own the hardware they use, when it's clearly OVH.

Honestly majority of the reason's people own hardware is for full control and to save money on monthly costs. But even if you don't own your own hardware that doesn't make you a bad host it just depends on who your using. For example if you use SecuredServers, they are a great data center, so that wouldn't be bad. But if your using a place like Wholesale Internet...shame on you.

But you just can't lie about owning hardware, that's truly wrong. It also in some cases (correct me if I am wrong) it could be counted as false advertising which if I remember correctly is illegal in the United States.

You can't really say "omg so expensive, imma go to another host".
The fact some companies offer cheaper on the same hardware certainly doesn't make them any better.
Most complaining MC hosting customers in general come from hosts which offer very cheap prices.


Calling him nuts for offering a certain price? I'm going to cal you nuts for never contacting them for the server you ordered.

Recap, go call Google Cloud hosting nuts for offering the same specs as a OVH VPS but for x20 times the price lol.

Why am I coming up for ApexMinecraftHosting? I've been behind the scenes a while ago. They had a really motivated team and management team to offer the service they provide. It's one of the very few companies I'd trust my server and files with.

They legitimately monitor every dedicated server very efficiently and investigate for anything out of the ordinary.

Your vouch, while lovely and caring for them, has no use. And I'm not trying to be mean, but we're talking about prices & hardware. Other hosts, just like: ShockByte, NuclearNode, MysticNode, etc have cheaper prices & a well structured support team. I don't doubt they don't have what it takes to be a good host, but lowering prices would be a good idea. No one pays $20 for a friendly talk. You pay for the server.
