If people enjoyed the server they will comeback. They wouldn't want to find a new server because all their stuff is on this one, so they would join back if the server is up within a week. Granted you will losses around 10 players but you will still retain some of them.

From my past experience, players move on quickly, so like I stated before: For every day that this server is down, the server loses value.
