7 day name change period

i believe 30 days is too long, should be shorter.
This is cause, in my case, I wanna change my name but idk if it’s gonna “fit” after a few days

Why does this matter? This basically makes joke names impossible to have, and there's no reason to think what would fit. It's just a username, if you can change it more often it allows you to change it to something fitting quicker.

It would lead to more fuckery and could potentially also cause issues if names are getting taken by others (because of the quick change).

I don't see how? If you can quickly change to take someone elses name, they can quickly change to take it back.

If someone changes their name for fun, for example April Fools like it was suggested above, and someone decides to just permanently change their name to the first person's name, issues would occur. Seven days is too small of a period and honestly just unnecessary. If there should be more benefits for donators, there are tons of different and better things that can be added compared to this.

Add a username cooldown then. When a user changes their username, there can be a grace period, like MC, where no one can claim that name. Anyways, if they decide to change their names, that's a risk they take.
