Maybe you should focus your efforts on finding a french host, no point redirecting to an english page if the majority of your viewership only speaks french/doesn't speak much english.

$500/m isn't bad actually in general, just bad for targeting hosting companies. He should look for a French Minecraft server to sell to... Since it's French, it'll be worse since there's many more English readers/speakers in the world.

But yeah, you might want to offer the chance to a hosting company that specialises in your country (for example, www.mchost.no specialises in Norway).
