Hey, just thought of this.
Basically, you have to be registered to MCM for a month to add reputation, so don't let users delete posts off their profile if the user hasn't been registered for a month.

Example :
Bob buys supreme, scams 4 new users who cannot give reputation. They devouch him, however he deletes them. Bob then scams 4 more users.

Solution to false messages / spam?
Report them.

Do you know why I disagreed? because this is already a thing. There is already a period of time where you cannot leave reputation after joining.
And the 'deleting posts off profile' is not really relevant if you consider this is about reputation. nor would THAT do much against scammers.

Personally, I check profiles before dealing so seeing a 'Devouch' would be useful.

Because "devouch" tells you so much about a person, as opposed to legitimate negative reputation?

But new members cannot add negative reputation, so if they're scammed, and they devouch the user can delete that?

I have a solution; don't deal with bob in the first place because he isn't reputable.

Isn't that an interesting thought?
You don't understand, a user can scam new members and theres nothing they can do.
'Bob' could be extremely reputable, and exit scam.

This is already a thing, we have requirements for giving reputation. We're not going to make requirements to be able to remove profile posts though as that wouldn't really prevent any scams, it just makes the site less useable.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
