I've recently found a lot of impersonators on discord who tried to scam me. Maybe it would be an idea to make a huge Impersonator thread where all the known impersonators can be posted? This way people can check this one out before doing any deals. Might prevent future scams.

I know most people would just swap their # or make new accounts. But I think if you'd actively update this it would prevent possible scams. For example: the moment someone with GRAAPAPA#7900 contacts me, I just throw it in this thread and he either makes a new account (cuz that one just got exposed) or he wastes his time.
I personally think it could work, either exhaust scammers by not making it worth their time or by them not even knowing they got exposed thus they're wasting their own time.

A lot of people fall for impersonators because they do not take the time to confirm on-site by sending the person they are talking with a private message. There are some sites that community members have made to check if there is special text in the username to make sure you are dealing with the right person.
My point is there are ways people can avoid impersonators and it doesn't take too much time to check if the username is the right characters, or even better open a conversation.
If people are unable to confirm on-site they likely will not take the time to find the impersonator list and compare if the person they are dealing with is on the list. It would be very hard to make a maintained list because of how fast impersonators can change discrims or accounts.
Another issue is that if some new members don't see the user they are dealing with on that list, they will think that the person they are talking to is for sure not an impersonator and not taking other needed cautions.

The best way to avoid impersonators is to deal on-site or at the very least confirm on-site.
