Here's a hypothetical giveaway.
You guess a number from 0-9 inclusively. If you get it wrong, you retain 1 more attempt after the number is guessed correctly. If you get it correct, you add $prize to your tally, the prize halves and the number resets.
So when guessed, instead of $1, players receive $0.50 next time for correct guesses and so on.
This continues until the value reaches 1/4 of the original starting value (3 iterations). At this point, each player either has the choice of resetting their tally to increase the starting value (so if 1 player resets, 2x $1, or if 2 reset, 3x $1), or to 'cash out'. Should a player cash out, the game ends and no one else receives any more money except you.
Original starting money: $1.
