Hello Mc-Market members,
My friend Walshy is experiencing some problems with the website. Long story short, Javascript + Jquerry doesnt work for him, thus he cannot create a thread, nor can he see his alerts and thats why i am making this thread...

No box to type in:

No shoutbox:

And no hover-over's

So far he has tried with different browsers and different devices.
Different browsers (with and without adons) made no difference, but other devices worked perfectly. He also found out that he is getting a 503 response code for jquery.
Finally, no other changes have been done on his PC since the last time he was on Mc-Market.

What can he do to resolve this?

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Try updating Java if it is not already. Possibly try clearing the cache on the browser as well, that normally fixes any kind of browser based issue. Though if it is PC based/ device based, your firewall could be blocking the site and you may need to add an exception. That or you have a VPN that is being blocked.

Hello!
Well Walshy told me that:
1. He cleared the cache but that didnt sort the issue
2. Firewall isnt blocking for sure
3. He is not using a VPN
and lastly, it was working just the day before and no software has been installed/removed since.

Java and Javascript have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

fillpant, sounds like it's 100% on his end. Try accessing from another computer? Is he behind a proxy?

Hello :)
Well,
So far he has tried with different browsers and different devices.
Different browsers (with and without adons) made no difference, but other devices worked perfectly.
And no he is not using a VPN, proxy or anything alike :(
Lastly since other devices work, it doesnt have to do with his end :3
I think thats another paradox created by Walshy ...

Walshy, have you tried your misbehaving device with other xenforo sites that use similar features to the ones you aren't able to use here?
Determining that will surely determine whether or not the issue is solely your device, or your device + this site.
