I'm wanting to hear all of your opinions on the whole current issue of Summer Hosts, '$0.25/gb' Hosts, etc.

This issue needs to be resolved, and we can't just let it slip through 24x7. It's ruining the market.

Rxgroup is to blame for the $0.25/GB shenanigans on MCM..
Not really they are $0.50/gb and $0.80/gb and bbefore they where a thing Scriptedhost had like $4/mo unmetered and like $0.15/gb so it is not their fault 100%....

This is very true, although it helps 'new' people start it plagues us with hosts that think it's sustainable to price at under $0.50/gb.

MC-Market should be divided up into to catergories, one for registered hosts, and one for unregistered host. That way, everyone will have the ability to choose a real company, or a small no-name host.
But I guess it will kill the business for the MC-Market owner with advertising And sticky threads.
This has been suggested multiple times but it's 'too much effort' on Mc-Markets end apparently to keep the community safe.

https://www.mc-market.org/threads/250911/ would also work, potentially.

Well yes summer hosts are a problem, but this is a marketplace remember, they can not just divide the categories because it wouldn't help new not summer hosts start. I mean possibly the most they could do is make a rank for Business Accounts and Freelancers called "Certified" which you have to apply for, then when you apply you would have to show proof of people purchasing your services, proof it has been open for longer then 6-8 months and also proof of ownership and reputability.

That would possibly be the best idea at the moment. Since this is a marketplace it would take away the idea of it being a actual marketplace. If we was to do this category thing it would mainly be like "Well I want to try out this new coffee at a new coffee shop in town, but since Costa is more reputable Im going to go there". They wont try any of these Budget hosts because the other bigger hosts would be in a section called "Reputable Hosts" even though these new hosts may have way better specs, support and more involved with there service.

(This is my personal opinion tho)
