It isn't big, but I think a lot of people are a little mislead and I think it may help push the warning that some may be banned soon. I think under the "Warnings" section in their profile there should be a section quite obvious to the user that 75 Points is BAN and maybe a small counter next to it saying how many more points till you're banned. Put some sense into us, make us not break anymore rules 0.o

Perhaps it would be ideal to note it in warning messages instead/as well? I presume it’s viewed more because you’re forced to view it to get rid of the pesky number.

Except this really does not occur at our fault. The vast majority of offenses come with a verbal warning first and in instances where you do not receive a verbal warning first, it should more or less be common sense. The only infractions which carry a 20 point offense are primarily those related to attempting to redistribute or otherwise sell content as your own, when you do not own or possess the right to redistribute it; it should be common sense not to claim work you do not own as yours and attempt to sell it. Furthermore, even the 10-15 point infractions are rather simplistic to understand and follow. Do not promote competitors, do not post NSFW or sexually explicit content, and do not violate our Terms and Conditions of Service.
As a side note, I do understand there are discrepancies in what is a violation and what is not, depending on the moderator. I do think we can improve on being consistent in what is a violation and what is not.

I digress, as for the 75 point permanent ban, I do think it would be a quality of life change to post this somewhere, either in warning notifications or as an automatic Private Message once you accumulate at least 30 warning points and with each successive suspension.

I did agree that your situation seemed to be a genuine mistake, but that doesn't negate the rule nor rights violation at hand, as explained within the warning PM.

I will quickly quote Justis' response to another suggestion, which should clarify why this is:
Resource authors should not be handling premium jars if they cannot accept the responsibility of ensuring that they’re not leaking them when they upload. MCM only checks the first version, we don’t check any of those following. So if you can’t even ensure that the one that’s checked isn’t violating anyone’s rights, what faith can we have that you’ll ensure that for all of your resource’s following updates?

In a marketplace, carelessly leaking someone else’s product is the biggest mistake you could possibly make. Those whose irresponsibility is unable to be corrected should not be uploading resources here. 20 warning points and a temporary suspension is a slap on the wrist.

So basically add "/75" to "Warning Points: X" when someone clicks your name and the thing pops up. i.e this.

In warning conversations we already link people to the wiki page we have that outlines how our warnings system works, and I think that's plenty.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
