A little rant

Hey guys, does anybody else has the same issue as me?

Wanting to start something but when you are searching someone to do it with and make a strong team like you cannot find people with passion to do it. Like what I miss are the dedicated people who do not care about money. Who want to create something from nothing and grow it like a little flower. People who think all day long on how to do the things they do better, how to attract more players etc. People are just lacking passion, the greater goal everyone just wants the quick bucks and go away and not fight for a bigger goal.

Like I pay well and reward everyone as fair as possible I even underpay myself to pay other people better but idk.


I am setting up a Minecraft server which is going to be something special and I know this thing is going to work because I know what I am doing and I have the resources to do what I do.


If anyone recognizes this frustration maybe, we can have a chat hahaha. For the rest of it I am a pretty chill guy.

I get what you're saying, you should motivate people in the way your motivating others on MC-Market to chat with you about it! I also think this doesn't belong in "Recruitment & staff"...

Really depends, I currently run a group of managers and everyone is motivated for it.. Everyone gives for each other, if one manager would get a commission there would actually be support from all sides, just for one ticket! This is just an example that money is not the key to a project, it's a good TOOL.

I'd personally say that most people start off as passionate and motivated when they move into a field such as creating a minecraft server. But if they aren't seeing the results they wanted or are getting frustrated with it then they will lose a lot of it. Also they won't have the same vision as you so it'll be nearly impossible for you to find people as passionate as yourself about your idea.

At the end of the day, the world revolves around money, there are bills to be paid. It's just how it is.
