A question about player slots.

I plan on expanding my server into a network. Now my questions is:
What needs unlimited slots? BungeeCord, or the Hub?

Another question of mine, is 0.5GB of ram is enough to host my bungee server? (I don't have a large Playerbase)

Depends, do you want unlimited players in hub, server1, and etc or all the servers, or just one.

0.5gb of ram is good enought for the bungee server
You want ultimate or much player slots on all but the bungee server.

When I ran my own servers I'd allocate 1GB to the Bungee server, I had some issues with it running out of memory on 512MB but I did use quite a few plugins on Bungee so that was probably why. This was an older version however. Just keep in mind.
