Recently I have been developing some ideas for a new minecraft server that I think is rather unique. It combines towny with an rpg type gameplay while also incorporating custom mobs, items, weapons and possibly biomes. The server will also have a custom map and most likely texture pack.
Players will spawn in a map created by the staff team which consists of 3 layers, each layer walled off from the other and the third layer walled off from the rest of the world. Players will complete quests inside the walled off layers to earn money, level up and buy their way into the next layer of the map where things get more difficult however living conditions are more appropriate. Furthermore, players can venture outside of the walls to complete quests that are of a much higher difficulty and much more dangerous because of mobs. it is also possible to come across dungeons in the outside world which are found underground. These will be custom built with hidden portals, mazes and of course a boss. These dungeons reap the highest rewards of all. When a player reaches the center of the third layer, they will be faced with a boss along with anyone they are partied with. If they defeat the boss, that party will be rewarded with a unique prize that could change the entire server and its game play.
Moderator's Duty:
Currently we are in need of builders and developers more than moderators because of the server not being released yet however we do want to start obtaining moderators for the future. A moderators duty is moderate the chat and forums as well as assist players with the game and provide assistance in ongoing situations that may be disrupting the atmosphere of the server.
Builder's Duty:
A builder's duty is to primarily help the other owner and I and other staff members to create the main map as well as dungeon layouts and possibly custom biomes if we ever feel we need to add that into the game.
Developer's Duty:
A developer's duty is to help the owner and I develop and manage plugins on the server. The server has not yet been paid for and will be a private server until it has finished construction so plugins have not yet been decided. Many plugins that already exist will allow us to do most of the things on the server however things such as custom items, biomes and bosses will be need your attention. I still do not know whether or not there is a quest plugin we can use.

You will then be redirected to a suitable area to fill out a more thorough application. We will most likely use discord for this so if you do not have discord please make sure you do. If you do not want to get it or feel uncomfortable sharing that information with me, we can use another mode of communication.
