A rant on MCM's reputation system and new/unranked members

Hey- so recently, I've attempted to come back to MCM after sniping what I thought was a goldmine, got it appraised, and now I want to sell it, but I can't.
For unranked users, this is most likely a situation you've experienced before.
The fact is, for people without any money wanting to start up on MCM is extremely difficult, you cant get rep because you cant sell accounts, without rep you cant get loans to buy premium because nobody will trust you enough, you cant get premium without money, and the cycle continues.
The only way to be able to progress on the site is to either have money or move elsewhere, or have someone that cares enough to rank you up, or get lucky enough to get a loan from someone.

Getting negative reputation is easier when unranked or new to the site
If you're new to MCM, unranked, and have no reputation or money whatsoever, it's likely that people automatically jump to the conclusion that you're an ''alt'' or that you're ''shady.''
If you get negative repped for something you didn't do, or something unreasonable, most of the time people don't bother to look at the reason, and because that may be the only bit of rep you have, people will stop dealing with you based off your rep, making it even harder to ACTUALLY do anything.
It's been proved that admins have bias when dealing with false negative reputation time and time again, and in this case, it's no exception, so you can almost always forget about it being removed, this is also a reason why alting can happen.

Conclusion
If you're new, broke, and want to start up, you can forget it.

Do shit for free and ask them to write a review (not reputation!) if they like it. Don't act like the account section is the only thing that exists.

Yes, if you are unskilled, unmotivated and not hard-working then MCM is hard to start. But wait, that's everything in life.

Technically your parents are paying school tax. Which is that "20$ for art" you were referring to. Nothing is free to start with, we all had to work for what we wanted. Might I suggest trying stuff for free, and get the reputation needed to be able to be trusted.

I'm aware you have to work for stuff, and that nothing's free, but you still came to sell accounts, if for instance, I went ahead and did free art, I'd be ending up wasting even more resources and time of my own on something that I didn't come here for just to earn the ability to get reputation enough to be able to get a loan for a rank so I can ACTUALLY sell my account on a website that was made for selling accounts. :rofl:

When I joined this site back in 2015, I joined it for running mc servers and so fourth not for account selling. Everyone joins for their own personal reasons. However, account selling isn't the only thing you can do. Do you have other skills?

In the name yes, but then there is "and sales forums" meaning sales of anything mc related. From builds, to plugins, to art, etc... Just expand your skills and work on more. Thats what I ended up having to do once I figured out I'm awful at building, can't code, etc. Lol

So, this is a way for MCM to get money, and to help with scammers a bit. Most scammers don't have money and won't scam if they spent y know $10-$25+ on the forum, now this isn't always the case it's unlikely. There are of course more reasons this is a thing; but Mick already commented on this like a year ago.

Okay, so I started on MCM 3 years ago saying I was 18, my reputation was tarnished and everything. I was 13 and had no money etc etc. I fit the description you put out. I within a month decided to be truthful(thanks to Jam ) and yeah. I started selling Xenforo themes for like $1-$5. I had around $100 total after a month of me being truthful(and being a non/unranked). I bought a rank in the beginning of uhh 2017 I believe. It didn't really help much other than the blue banner, name, and of course, letting me be able to sell accounts. Since this time I've become well-known. Honestly, it's not as big as an issue as you claim it to be. Nothing in like comes free, nor should it be that way. Though I went a bit off topic I hope it gets the point through.

Yes, it is in the name, as you've pointed out; as it is. Even with the $10 ONE TIME payment it still is. Honestly, start learning more, this is more than just a "Account" forum, we can sell builds, plugins, configs, setups etc etc. Not just accounts. Expand what you good at, it'll help alot with your work ethic aswell.

Honestly, if I saw someone with an account I wanted and saw they had no rank, I'd just go and add them on discord or something else to buy it. That doesn't break any rules(unless they changed recently).

Staff take negative reputations as a joke.

I got negative repped by a troll, who I never met in my life. Further more, has has like 20% reputation score and gave 2 negative reputations withtin 1 minute with the same message to me and someone else. Staff didn't do shit about it. I mean, do they have negative IQ or something?? YourPanda Explain please.. I sent a report with all that proof and I got "declined".

Half of the reports we get are from members we have never seen or never talked to. I wouldn't say we are biased on any level. We use our best judgment, which to a user can seem like biased but it's more so what we feel will better the community in the future. I wouldn't say we are biased but everyone's best judgment isn't the same as one another. I feel biased is the wrong term to use.
