Haven't seen anyone talk about this but I want to be able to message my buyers instead of individually messaging them all. I have 43+ buyers on my MCM Resource and want to PM them all about my new discord, or any update thats not file related etc..

Maybe like an email subscription, or a thing where I can just click a couple buttons and send a mass message to everyone who has bought my setup.

Agree or not agree, please tell me opinions.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

People would use it to mass PM people about their other products and to advertise. Which getting random PM's from people trying to sell you things you have't asked about is quite annoying.

Ok then maybe there should be like a button that you Unsubscribe from getting PM's and by default you are subscribed?

Other way around would be better. You have to tick a box to subscribe when buying it (Which is what a lot of companies do). Giving people extra things to find and do, so they don't get advertising PM's from people, isnt really good.

So yeah, a button to subscribe to updates related to a resource would be great. However, I'm on the fence about allowing it to be used for things not related to that resource.

I would rate that discord server of yours to be somewhat unrelated, but that depends on what you intend to use it for. If it's meant for resource support, its clearly related. If you use it for other purposes, its debatable.

Yeah, you can take a look at it, its a discord for ALL my setups, ordering setups etc, I announce updates, get people to contact me for support etc, planning on getting a support team to help with me and get people in contact with them when they have problems with the setup

I do see the benefit of this but generally sending messages with update notes has worked fine for me as the people who still use the resource see the message when downloading the updated version. Some people may not want to be sent messages whenever the author deems it nessesary as they no longer use the resource.

I do want to mention that 43 buyers isn't even terrible to manage. I think I maintained that with updates sent via Skype to all my buyers on my early days without too much stress or panic since the buy system didn't work on my end for the longest time.

This can be done on your own with something like mailchimp.com

I don't see a reason to allow people to create their own little mailing lists on the site, it is likely to just be used to annoy users with promotions of their other products. There are plans to automatically send a PM to the users who have bought your resources in the future though, which you could include your thanks in :)

Denied, thanks for the sugggestion.
