So I'm just going to start off by saying, please don't bash this thread. I will give good reason not to, or at least, what I find to be adequate reasoning.
So there have been numerous posts about people not having any money to start an MC server with a supposedly great idea. Well, I am one of those people... sort of. I have a job, but some hardships in my life that have recently happened to me that I do not feel comfortable sharing with the community is preventing the majority of my funding. My idea is simple, Event-Hub. The concept of this is to PAY the players of the community that play on the server, while still making a profit. This may have been done in the past, I don't really know. But I feel like I have the means on doing it better and more efficiently. I would not like to speak more upon the subject then what is stated so someone doesn't copy the idea. However, if this has interested you to this point, please read below on what I am looking for and what I can offer to you.
---What I can offer---
- I have a 15% off lifetime discount with a host I was using while developing another one of my ideas before things happened.
- I have some developers under my belt that I get 15% back on their said price
- I have experience in Business Management (As I am in college studying it right now)
- I will pitch in where funds are available. Although I can't guarantee that will be a lot until I get this figured out.
---What I need from you---
- Someone who will be able to assist me on some of the ideas and bounce some off of me as well
- Someone with adequate experience in management or running a server.
- Someone capable of providing the necessary funds (Not exactly sure on an amount yet, however as stated previously I will do what I can to provide funding)
- Someone who will be willing to put in the same amount of effort that I will be putting in.
**Side Note**
As you will be providing the majority of the funding for this server I will only be taking 40% of the profits, you will be taking 60%. Please keep in mind when I say profits, I mean that all the expenses for the server have been paid for and that we have put enough funds back to pay players that have been able to redeem their cash prizes.
