A weird request..

Hi,

I've recently created a farming server, however; the basis of the server is to sell crops and rankup, but the issue is. I need something that'll allow someone to have a donor/staff rank, and still be able to rankup through the proper ranks.

If it already exists, please show me.

If someone knows how to do it w/o a plugin, please show me.

If someone can make me a plugin that is compatible with PEx and rankup3, please contact my discord: timid#2020

LuckPerms is just a way better plugin for permissions as it's maintained. Pex is abandoned. It's easier to run both sets of groups with luckperms than it is with pex.

so in the rankup system there must be something where it makes the command "pex user %user% group set A" instead of running thjat command use "pex user %user% group add A"

You can transfer all data from pex to luckperms with a migration command.

So; that worked well, the only issue is my donor rank is supposed to be weighed as a higher role, and yet it still displays the prefix for the regular rank

Make your donor rank appear as a suffix instead so it doesnt remove the prefix

They can have as many roles as you want to give them, equally can have as many roles in pex.

The weight system on luckperms is better but if you do it with pex just make sure the weights are higher numbers and I ussually leave atleast a 5 gap between weights.

As stated above make sure you have your chat setup with the right placeholders.

I don't even know how to change the weight lul[DOUBLEPOST=1586482870][/DOUBLEPOST]My main issue is, I don't know how to format weight in the config, so when I add the owner rank to myself on top of the regular rank, I try to rank up and it removes my owner prefix

Hey, my suggestion is that you get deluxe chat and make all staff and donor ranks as a suffix and then in deluxe chat put the suffix before your name so it looks like [OWNER] [A] Voxtility ect
