Ability to delete your shoutbox messages

Would love it if there was a way to delete your messages in shoutbox in case you accidentally mistype something or in my case, post an ad before the 20 minutes interval between ads is complete. Allow it only for people who have supreme or ultimate, and have a 2 minute timer to delete the message. MAYBE make it so you can only delete a certain number of messages a day/every hour or something. Also, a way for staff to see deleted messages just in case.

It has been planned for us to add the ability for Ultimate users to soft-delete their chat messages, which will hide them from everyone except for staff. It is on our development queue at the moment already but I'd love some more feedback.

My question is, if we say something on accident, like in my case where I accidentally advertised twice in 20 minutes, and we delete that message and it was against shoutbox rules, would we still be punished?

I just think it’s too much work at the current moment. While I’m all for it, if you accidentally posted your ad and broke the timer the soft delete as Mick said would just not show it to the public, but you’d still get moderated on it which is the only reason I can see this being used.

Yea I was asking Mick if the deleted chats would still get moderated. Also, Mick stated it was already planned to come.

I'm not too sure with this, we'll have to cross that bridge when we come to it.
