https://brivium.com/resources/change-threads-posts-owner-premium.29/ ($15)
Transfer can be requested via support ticket.
An example of where this addon will be useful is if a host, group, or any other sort of organization changes an owner and they already have a thread and they don't want to lose the views, ratings, and vouches in the comments.

I have never used the addon, so I'm not sure if the original owner will still have access to the thread or not. Or if it just changes the name and not the permissions.

None of you would be able to use it, just so you know.

Not to mention that I hate Brivium addons. Their support sucks and I don't trust them.

EDIT: Not a bad feature for moderators to be able to do this for members. But there are other addons that can do it. Free even. :p

I would assume people could request for the transfer (w/ confirmation from the original poster & requested new owner) via support ticket, which would then be approved/denied by a moderator or admin.
I have never contacted brivium for support, maybe someone else can share their experience with them.

Nice idea TechBanana, I think it'd be useful in numerous occasions :). Businesses are sold almost every day on mcm and transferring ownership is usually very hard.
I edited my post before you guys got your posts in. But yes, I'm sure that'd be fine. I'd still prefer another addon, personally. I hate Brivium.

Why do you dislike Brivium?

If we were to get an addon to do this, it certainly wouldn't be one from Brivium. They have been confirmed to have put harmful thingies in their add-ons and an official post was made about it on xenForo's website. I can't find the post as they've now censored the word 'brivium'.

We already have Brivium addons on MC-Market, so at this point, it doesn't matter much for us.

However, that is partly why I'm not a fan of them.

More work for admins, there are close to 0 cases of needing an ability to transfer threads.
