Hello there! I am the founder of AbillityCraft. I am 16 years old and have Autism myself and after playing Minecraft on the computer for a few years getting bullied to the point where at times I cannot sleep at night or even feel safe (people are cruel...) I decided that its time to make a change, last year a group of friends and I created Autforce, a safe server for people with Autism, I recently decided to reopen and this time I realized not only people with Autism get bullied, EVERYONE does..... I am currently going to do a test process and let people with Anxiety, simple speech problems, OCD etc on the server. If things don't go well with that then I will simply make it back to Autistic people only.
So, the server is very different than others, not only because this is safer but also, I am using Discord to create a website type thing, most people are using Discord to do everything and this will make it so we can also make sure that we don't have more to keep a eye on (console, Discord server, website etc)....
I have made it so you are required to fill out the whitelist application in order to view ANY channels and to even get the IP address, the Discord server is very secured and us staff watch the console at all times, I have a plugin that allows us to view it from Discord so even at work I can watch and make sure things are going smoothly!
So, how do you get started? Head over to: <https://discord.gg/wF6hmQF to join our Discord server/website>.... You then can fill out a whitelist application and the Admins will look over it and let you know if you are accepted or not. If you would like the whitelist application to only show for Admins, please paste it in a message to me on Discord.
FEATURES OF THE SERVER:
- All blocks placed and broken are tracked by a plugin, this plugin also allows us to rollback anything.... This means if someone breaks your build or steals something we can use a command and everything will go back to normal!
- Community wither fights happen every so often on the server! Battle the wither and other mobs with your friends!
- Ranks are EARNED.... Unlike most servers, you must earn ranks. This is so we can make sure all of our staff deserve the rank and aren't immature. We are looking for people who go above and beyond for others and the community.
- Player Of The Week award... Every week we will give out the Player Of The Week (POTW) award to one lucky player that deserves it the most! This could be someone who has improved in the past week (Use to spam but now doesn't, use to get really upset but now is calm etc) or someone who has shown that they deserve it. You can get this award multiple times, our staff make sure that it is fair though.
- Modreq ticket system... This plugin is known on some survival servers, this allows you to send a request in for admins to protect your build, rollback a grief or other things. Please do NOT abuse this command, if you have a question please use our #questions channel on our Discord server or add the owner and message him privately.
- Protections.... We protect anyone's build that is requested, this makes it so only you or anyone you want added to the protection can build, open chests etc.
- Lockette (Protected chests!) We have a plugin that allows you to lock a chest so if your protection isn't enough, they would have to get through your protected chest as well! This plugin also allows you to let others to open the chest if you want.
- Unlike most server owners and staff we don't abuse, I have owned servers for 3+ years now and have tons of experience, I am not your typical server owner that OPs people "From Planet Minecraft"
There is plenty to do as well and we are looking to eventually add more things such as minigames! The server is survival and also has 2 creative build worlds!
