Abolish rule 8.1

I really appreciate mcm looking out for its users and trying to keep scams down by not allowing safe trading of regular minecraft accounts.

If you want to buy an account that isn't OG, Semi-OG, or has a cape or some cool stats, you can go off-site and buy one from an alt site. MCM isn't the place for that.

This is stupid ideology, if mcm already encourages the sale of accounts of higher monetary value why not also allow the sale of accounts for people who don't care about the stupid cosmetic bullshit that makes me dip deeper into my wallet.

I have to agree with the sale of nfa/sfa/ufa accounts being banned, because I've seen a competitor site go to crap due, in part, to their sale. It also is somewhat unethical, because NFA/SFA/UFA accounts are overwhelmingly obtained through cracking, as opposed to OGs/semis/capes which can be cracked, although a much larger percentage are obtained legitimately. However, I think this rule could be better clarified, specifically in terms of what accounts are disallowed instead of what's allowed. I'm led to believe that this suggestion is partially caused through something that happened in shoutbox where a user was given a verbal warning for asking if someone was selling a "cheap FA account". All semis, OGs, and cape accounts on the site are FA, and depending on the users budget, could've been considered cheap, as cheap is subjective. I think it would be nice to add a bit of clarification.

The main reason this was done was to avoid the selling of illegally cracked accounts.

Well it failed, because a lot of the accounts on the market were cracked up ass, but i guess that's fine when they're worth a lot of money. I guess basing the presumption that all non unique accounts will all be cracked is as flawed as allowing the sale of minecraft accounts.

This suggestion isn't suggesting the sale of nfa/sfa/ or ufa. I'm suggesting that full access minecraft accounts be allowed. However i understand your point. I think it should be clear about the topic of discussion and thats why i responded.[DOUBLEPOST=1582641144][/DOUBLEPOST]

Most alt shops do steal/crack their accounts en-masse though. If the sale of non-unique FAs was allowed here - these accounts would flood the market.

you mean exactly the same as all these cape accounts, semi og accounts, and og accounts?

Let's ban Semi-OGs too because most are nearly sold for $6~ or some low ridiculous price when Minecraft accounts are $26.95~. Users just head to competitor sites to purchase Unmigrated-FA accounts than use a name-change then resell for a couple bucks profit. No literal way the sale of a $6 Minecraft account is legitimately earned.

I believe that the rule should remain in place for the security of the site. However, I'm not ignorant to the fact that there are a lot of accounts that meet the current standards that have been cracked (looking at you cape accounts )
