Are you saying that if abortions were outright illegal we would result in some overpopulation crisis?
I mean I don't really think 1 million less deaths per year would really cause that much of a problem..?

We can solve a lot of problems by killing people but that's not how a civilized society works.

Abortions would still occur, they would just be illegal. This wouldn't be a big change at all since majority ob abortions are done illegally whether that's by yourself or with a doctor.

What are you talking about? Global population rates are going down if anything, and that 1.5 million extra people being born per year would barely scratch that percentage.

Whose problem if the parents of that kid where horny one night or did not use protection, why should an unborn child's life be decided on the mistakes of the idiot parents.

An unborn child doesn't have consciousness like you and I do, therefore is not like "killing anyone else". Women get abortions around 15 weeks into their pregnancy, and that is nowhere near the 6 months that the baby starts learning voices/etc.

Yiiiiikes, women are responsible for being raped? You must be very young to have such a naive idea of what rape is and how it happens.
Realistically a lot of people hide behind the "what about rape and incest?", because they're both fair points, but you can't use that to justify it as an alternative to contraception, even then it's only 0.2% or something miniscule. Honestly I agree with OP, contraception has never been more advanced and yet we still see the need for it.
If you were a child, would you really want to live if you were unwanted? Abortions give parents the chance to not have a child until they actually want to have one which can vary on a few factors such as when they are ready, if they have the money to support one, etc
