About old McM chat

Do you miss the old mcm global chat forum? Replacing it with discord integration was a nice change but what about the old one?
Would you be in a favor of integrating it again in a separate section?

Definitely not - the old chat was really inactive towards the end of XF1 and I feel the switch to Discord has revived casually chatting on BBB. In my view, there’s no point in having 2 chats either.

Perhaps things were a bit dead, however, the forums aren't the best option in 2022 or later years. Nowadays live chats tend to be better.

Global chat was definitely a plus for advertisers (I used to get much more sales back then for example)
would love to see it back again.

Having a whole other chat is stupid. The old chatbox is so dead and now its even move active and basically the same thing you can just chat in 2 different places

All anybody did with the shoutbox was self-promote. Switching to Discord was an overdue change

The shout-box was just advertisements. It wasn't really any conversations. The discord looks cleaner. Aswell as is just casual chat.

I like the discord more.
