Both. I work full time and go to school as a full time student.

Not really. The job I have isn’t related to my major and in a few months I’m going to quit and get an internship.
Yeae, people are already starting to take away from my achievements saying that the certification is worth nothing, and it was a waste of time.
As long as these certifications come directly from Microsoft or wherever you’re certifying from it doesn’t matter what other people think.

Jobs like to see these things because they don’t have the time o train their employees in things such as excel. They want a candidate who already knows how to do this.
Well I attend a trade highschool, and so I managed to get my certification through them, you personally may need to pay for a class if you want to learn the test prep (you can learn the languages, but being able to take a test on it is a different beast all together). Most likely you have some local classes that offer it (maybe in a college or something that anybody can take). But I think that you can just study yourself, and then pay for the exam.
