About to take my certification test tommorow

I used a program called Gmetrix back in high school to practice for my MOS certifications. In my first year of college I switched to a program called SimNet.

No way! Thats the exact same program that I used lol. I used Gmetrix as a test prep, but used Certiport to actually take the test.

I definitely prefer GMetrix over the one I used two years ago in college. Definitely the best training software I’ve used. I’m pretty sure my class also used Certiport when it came to taking certification exams.

Pretty sure certiport is a microsoft website, but dont quote me on that. GMetrix is very useful, its like taking the exam before the exam. I just wish that it was more hard boiled like the test

The only time I felt like Gmetrix wasn’t fully preparing me for exams was with Excel Expert 1 and 2. It broadly went over a few things but completely left me in the dark on a lot of the higher end functions.

Yea, it did not really include everything on my test either (like form methods), but then again, its supposed to be a test prep tool, its my job to make sure I really know it all. Overall great tool, it helped me alot.

Honestly there are some tests you don’t even need practice for if you’ve used the programs before. I certified in word, PowerPoint, and in access having not practiced once.

I mean, we grew up with those programs, and they are pretty damn user friendly, so I would think so (maybe alittle review before the test)

Tomorrow is finally the day, the day that I can finally take my Microsoft certification test for frontend web development. I know alot of you guys may be WAY better than me, but having a certification will help me get a job, which is my trip out of hell. I am going to take it tomorrow, and hopefully I get atleast a 70 or above, because then I can finally pass and get certified. Wish me luck guys, I will update you all.

Sloth just showed my dad my certification, of course at the end of the day he was being judgmental, but allow me to tell you some of the things that he said attempting to sound smart:

1.Microsoft cut off flash player (apparently flash player isnt owned by Adobe anymore)
2.The end of flash player = the end of HTML (I think he thinks that flash and HTML are the same thing)
3.HTML is going away because hackers like to hack it alot (never knew you could hack HTML)
4.CSS is going away soon after HTML (even if HTML was going to go away, CSS would also go away with it, because they are a together package)
5.The MTA isnt a certification, and cant be put on a resume, because it just means that you completed a class

Just want to make sure I am not wrong.
