I think that before you can start buying accounts, you need a minimum number of posts. This is to prevent people creating alts, which I see alot - people who join the same day and their only post is a bid on a random account. This would overall prevent scamming, and also prevent people being able to easily cancel out their bids. For instance, if someone bids $50 on an OG account, then decide they don't want to buy it anymore, if they refuse to buy it they get lots of warning points, however if they just create a new account and bid, it will be on that account, (assuming they use a VPN). A good minimum would be around 25 posts - 50 posts.

How exactly would this prevent scamming? How does the buyer scam if they have to go first? (as you'd do with a brand-new member).
As for the bidding, that REALLY won't be affected by creating a minimum post count. Scammers would just spam posts until they could bid, while legit new members would have to either do the same and risk warning points or wait and try to meet it legitimately.

f&f chargeback, they could be a already banned member trying to scam accounts.

And how does a minimum post count prevent F&F chargebacks? oh, right, it does not.
Simply use an invoice for any large deals. It is 100% impossible to charge back invoices if they include terms that forbid chargebacks. Yes, the fee is a bit higher, but it's worth it.

Well this can be prevented by having a maximum amount of posts a member can make. Normal members can only make 25 a day, premiums 100 and supremes 150
That would be pretty disastrous. Limiting the amount of posts someone can make? really?
Not to mention that having a threshold so high as to make those post limits necessary would kill a lot of account sales.

Also, this suggestion was made because a single member retracted a bid and OP believes they used an alternate account to prevent themselves getting warning points for retracting the bid.
That's the motivation.

If anything happens, it will likely be an account age thing, not a post count thing. An account age of 24h would already have prevented this specific case.

Thanks master PayPal guru, but that isn't how it works. PayPal doesn't care about terms you write. You can use one of many excuses in a book. You can forge your session to PayPal to make your transaction look unauthorised, then chargeback (the uses of this are limited, though). You can also chargeback as normal and say you did not receive goods. PayPal does not cover, under seller protection, most virtual goods. The seller will not be able to produce valid proof of shipping or sending of virtual goods and therefore the buyer will win the claim. Just some methods to go around the system. Invoices are more useful than nothing, but they aren't "100%".

As for this suggestion; it's useless.
