How did you try it out in-game?

I just changed the steve skin to my skin. nothing more.

I feel like Mojang makes the capes underwhelming because they know people often sell the codes. I mean they have the capability to make extremely amazing capes, but make cape designs like the 2015 and 2016. If random individuals in the community can make better capes than Mojang most certainly has the ability to do so too.

Yeah but google search shows completely different results and people thought the cape was pink but with an enderman face or purple with a enchantment table etc
