MCM should have a "Request Ban" button to request a ban for shit posters from their own thread.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Great idea but then people could ban people who devouch etc which is needed for other users viewing the thread afterwords

That'd cost a good bit to code, unless a plugin for that has already been made.

There's 1 risk: people exposing theft and/or other similar things, and people devouching for legit reasons, will be banned unjustly by people that want to preserve their fake reputation.

No. This would be terrible for sales threads.

If you feel like you've had a terrible deal with someone, you could just ban him from your thread and he wouldn't be able to leave any kind of review.

Please elaborate.

With a request ban button you'd have to specify a reason, a staff would need to look over it and judge if it's a valid/unvalid reason.
It seems way too complicated and unnecessary. Plus this would need to be custom developed which is totally not worth it.

Thing is the staff on MCM are already busy. It takes quite a while for them to actually look over the reports.

Wouldn't that be the same case with your "Request Ban" button? lol.

Hah, I killed myself :/[DOUBLEPOST=1457883147][/DOUBLEPOST]
Though we need some type of way dealing with Shit Posters, when MCM staff are busy.

They are completely removed eventually. It honestly doesn't matter that much.

And most "shitposters" have the most retarded and incorrect arguments that you even shouldn't bother explaining yourself. If you ignore them and just hit the report button, it'll be only 1 silly reply on your thread that will be removed within a day.

It doesn't matter. The posts are removed and the poster is issued a warning. If they keep spamming your threads or w/e they will eventually be suspended for excessive warning points.
