I mean we all wanted to know how much time is left till we advertise, we used to ask staff memebers but now they're told not to tell us which is bullshit.

If you can only scroll upto the last 5 minutes, and someone can scroll more than that, what's the point of not helping people?

Either you can put a timer that automatically tells us that we can post an ad now, and much time is left on the shoutbox so we're atleast aware.

Having a timer within the system is more better rather than telling people "Go set a timer on your phone".

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

The decision to no longer tell users when their last advertisement was made because many users were becoming far too reliant upon this.

Previously, when a staff member was not available to tell you, you should've been waiting long enough to where you were sure 20 minutes had passed. If you were to already be doing this, I'm personally unsure why you would need to rely upon a staff member if one was available.

We're already looking to introduce a feature which will display how long ago your last advertisement was, so I can't see any advantages of introducing this over using your computer or phone timer, which we've always recommended.

Similar to making it easier for people to bump their threads, making it easier to advertise in the chat will result in far more people advertising and therefore making advertisements less effective for everyone. If you are willing to put the effort in to copy/paste a string every 20-something minutes then you will get sales, if you aren't, then you won't.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
