Add a "Vouch" area (works like rep) [READ THE THREAD]

I know this was already here and people have suggested it in the past and it got declined, but i saw room for improvement and decided to give it a shot.

I think that this would be great to have back BUT with limitations, a "vouch" should be and mostly is actually relevant when given by someone with a lot of rep. I think if the vouch button were to come back only people with 20 rep should be able to use it. (if you have neg rep it would have to equal 20 pos to be able to use it) This would be great to use because if you have low or no rep but bought something off a user with 20 pos they could vouch you. A lot of people don't deal with new members or people with low rep because they think that they are scammers. I think this button would really fix some things and improve dealing on the site. Let me know what you think and don't say disrespectful things its just a suggestion i'm not calling your mom gay so relax.

[I also think you should have to fill out a page with proof of a deal that was done and send it to a mod so they can verify the vouch is legit]

Vouches are meant to be simple and quick; written on a thread or profile, etc. Testimonials count, too. It's up to the person doing the deal with the vouched person to determine whether the vouch is trustworthy or not, and thus whether the person is.

You completely misunderstood what I said. The same issue would happen with vouches. It's subjective. :|

We're not adding in a different system from our reputation system, and the system you suggested just seems complicated and doesn't solve anything.
