The last thing we want our target audience loading up our website for the first time to see is emojis everywhere, as if this were a meme platform instead of a marketplace, and place of business.

I really want to strive towards being the best marketplace, the place everyone who wants to sell their content not only needs to go, but trusts, feels confident in going to, and is pushed to improve in whatever business they engage in.
That is my goal, and I will work towards it one step at a time. One of those steps including not allowing the use of 2,666 emojis on our forum, among which are the eggplant, licking tongue, and poop emoji.

That is my goal, and I will work towards it one step at a time. One of those steps including not allowing the use of 2,666 emojis on our forum, among which are the eggplant, licking tongue, and poop emoji.
then block them lol, these are emojis, they won't affect anything, and make a limit, let's say 3 emojis max per thread

Indeed. Although our current list of smilies isn't that professional, I don't think adding in more useless smilies is useful. We have a small list and they fit into the site's style and aesthetic pretty well in my opinion.
