As title says it would be nice if you guys added euro as currency for premium products.

Why? many of us are from Europe and we have to always convert our balance either from USD or GBP to euro and conversion fees on PayPal are ludicrous when you also include the tax that are charging you when you receive money.

Actual facts:
When we sell something on here for $25 we only get about 15 euro from that.

PayPal allows you to pay in any currency using its automated conversion system, does it not?

But you have to pay a conversion fee.

I see no reason why not to, but it'll spark suggestions regarding other currencies as well, like Candidates above.

Mick Was there any reason why USD/GBP are the only currently available ones, or is it purely because these are the most common within our community?

GBP is useless as only a minority is using it unlike euro

Considering this is an English speaking forum; there are quite a few users from the UK, meaning it certainly isn't useless.

Not sure why that's an argument for adding the Euro in the first place unless you're just stating your opinion?

Just personal opinion, anyways it takes you guys 10 minutes to add conversion rates to xenforo for euro and with those 10 minutes you could save us from loosing 25% of what we earn here to paypal while converting. Please take it into consideration thank you,

A lot of people living in the UK that use this forum does not want to use the GBP as the value has plummeted, mainly because of Brexit. EUR is an alternative.
I'm not against adding EUR - it wouldn't affect me personally.

The pound is still stronger than the Euro, but regardless of that, why would you want to take a 20% hit for PayPal conversion fees, just to use EUR? You would still have to convert the EUR sometime, be that when accepting the payment, or withdrawing to a bank account. You aren't just going to keep it as EUR forever if that isn't an accepted currency in your own country.

I never suggested such or implied that you had said such either.

I'm simply defending the pound and questioning specifically why Patrick3 is wanting to use the Euro when they would incur 20% PayPal conversion fees.

That is not the point of the thread.

Patrick3 provided an argument as to way EUR should be added; I'm simply exploring and questioning it.

You had also said that GBP is useless, and that EUR is superior, which is an opinion. The suggestions section would not go anywhere if users could not explore and provide opposing opinions.
